"No.also, I can't skate on Santa Cruz stuff. "What.do you want them as tight as possible? The freshmen said that he could do those things easily, and my friend calmly said "Do it." The Freshmen then said that he didn't have his board, so my friend handed him his. My friend was taking a break, and he was wearing a Santa Cruz Sweatshirt. He was pulling out Crooked Grinds on a waist high ledge like it was child's play, when a stupid little freshmen punk walked up to him saying that he sucked. Just two days ago, my friend (btw, he's on the flow team of Santa Cruz.just wanted to say that) was skating at the nearby Seven Eleven. I think a poser is a person that tells you he is better, then sucks. Every single one of them dress in skater clothes, and I have yet to see anyone wear grunge. Reynolds (Turtle Boy) except for the fact that you DON'T have to wear Grunge clothes. Skate for the love of skating, and progressing youself as a better skater, don't just skate because it's the cool thing to do right now. That is what i really can't stand, is this typical "skater" stero type, you have to be grunge, dirty and look like you haven't showered in a week, and thats how lots of POSERS let people think they are down with skating. It's like they can't comprehend that the way you dress does not reflect who you are or what you do. I take it and do a 360flip or something, just to prove to them that i can skate, and they are still all bitter. I love it when this happens, cause i just tell the person, let me see your board. What because i'm a "skater" i'm supposed to dress like some hobo living under a bridge? I'm sorry, but i have been skating for a while, and when someone comes up to me and tells me i'm not a "skater" because i have a backwards hat on, some nikes and a shorty's sweatshirt. It makes me sick. Someone who dresses like they are all gruge and alternative and has to carry a skateboard around with them everywhere.
